Wishing I could call my old buddy Pat. It was a lot of years ago in what seems a previous life. I had two bikes a 1975 Triumph 750 Bonneville & a 1978 Kawasaki Z1R [Zoom Zoom] Pat and I decided to go on a adventure. We were headed to Portland to see a buddy that had just opened a motorcycle salvage Company. Me on the Z1 Pat on the Bonny.
We left Friday Edmonds Wa around 3pm drove I5 South to Renton down 167 the back way to 7 & down to spend the night at Riffe Lake not far from Morton wa. Back then no camp sights no little areas like it is now. It was wide open you could stay anywhere you wanted for free. We put up the tent gathered some wood and started a fire then sipped on the Blackberry Brandy. We got up the next am and packed the crap back into the big orange back pack I had tied to the sissy bar of the Z1R. & we headed to I5 on HWY 12. When we hit I5 South we went it was only around 80 miles but boy did we hate the freeway driving. It seemed like it took forever. We got to Georges new business and it was closed well I didn’t call first we wanted to surprise him & it was a 3 day weekend I was sure he would be open oh well. We found out from a worker at the auto body shop next door that he had went to Seattle. OOP’s I had brought a Polaroid camera and we had the body shop worker to take our pic with the bikes and then I dropped it in Georges  Mail slot so he would know we had been their. Back on the bikes & we headed I5 again and turned off at HWY 30. Showed up at me sisters house in St Helens Oregon to surprise her and the kids. Mary & the kids were home so we visited for ½ our or so. Then back on the bikes HWY 30 headed to Astoria for dinner then over the bridge & up 101 to spend the night at Lake Quinault. Put up the tent drank beer and told story’s in the fire light. Up the next am had breakfast at the Lodge. It was a beautiful morning and we were able to eat in the open on the air second story of the lodge overlooking the lake. Beautiful sight mountains in the background big lake and we were able to see a small school of trout zig zag swimming with the sun reflecting off the silver scales. We loaded up and headed up 101 around the horn to the Whistling Oyster Bar in Quilcene about 141 miles. Part of that ride the roads follows the shoreline of Lake Crescent lots of gentle twists and turns and the road was freshly asphalted when we got to the far end of the like we talked about riding back to do it again. Well a few pitchers of beer at the bar in Quilcene and down the road a little ways to spend the night on a old logging road.
The next morning we headed over the Hood Canal Bridge headed to Kingston then headed back to my house in Edmonds. Pat enjoyed riding so much he bought a 1977? z1000cc Kawasaki LTD. We did a lot more riding after the first trip.

sure it's been a while

While it seems like a good while since I've been here. And a lot has happened.Obama has produced his first certificate. The world has taken a terrible change for the worse. The economy has tanked unemployment numbers around 10% not to mention the people that have given up looking for work and the other people that aren't getting as many hours as they need.

I did pretty well crabbing last year it won't start again this year and tell July 1. I have it set up so when I checked my crab pots then take the crab back to the boat launch I have a huge Canning pot
I fill with salt water and cook them up right on the beach. You have a depth finder if the pot set to shallow you won't get any crab trance set them to deep you run out of line and lose the crab pot.

I sold my Honda XL 350r because the tabs were doing I had only used it once or twice for the whole year it was licensed for the street. I also sold my XL 250r that was licensed only off-road.
Last year my buddy art & went to Tahuya ORV park and I chased him I was on the 250 and he was driving his quad. My thought was driving on the orv trails would be like driving on old logging roads boy was I wrong. The baskets of much use at some of the corners are like driving on nothing but marbles. Of course we didn't bring our helmets and after about the third time of almost wrecking I decided off road motorcycle riding wasn't for me.being a cheap Sob I found at 250 honda Odyssey on Craig's list and fixed it up so that I can chase Art in the off-road forest.

After fixing the Honda up in getting it running quite well I used it here racing around the drive-by shooting path. The little Honda was a blast to drive even art had fun rolling it on the upper part of the trail. After writing it the smile on my face would last about 45 minutes but it would screw my backup for two or three days. It has shocks with springs on the front I straight axle no suspension and balloon tires on the back. Being a hoarder at one time I owned a total of four of them. Sold them on Craig's list then I bought a Polaris 325 trail boss. Should have this when I was drinking pushbutton start a lever per forward or reverse no clutch just push on the throttle and go. Big old balloon tires with front and rear suspension and it's a lot of fun to ride.
Tahuya is a fun place to go riding in May and there are a ton of trail. Art and I wrote quite some time on one trail got lost and ended up driving on the pavement about 12 miles to get back to the truck in the trailer.we were lucky we didn't get caught because I think they would have impounded the quads.First time were there are quads we had driven a couple of miles crossed the road and Ranger Rick was fixing the entrance fenceto the staging area we stopped to talk with him and he informed us that there was a helmet law on all off-road vehicle parks. I asked him if the sheriff or State patrol show up at the park he informed me that he had a ticket book on the dashboard of his work truck so we told him we were going to load up our quads and head home.

Well to the Little Green Tercel over to Nadine & Gary's to have Gary work on it.
Needed front struts bad.. Also brakes & a timing belt..I have to get it running good it will become Linnes mane transportation when the olds dies it has 220k miles & counting.The tercel has been a good little car & has a lot of mile left.. And at 33 mph I like it.
Julie called yesterday we hadn't talked a a while it was good hearing from her.We talked politics and argued about the state of the world. And just before I went to bed her son and my nephew William Harold Nash III chatted with me through face book.
All is going well and seems he will be a bona fide anesthesiologist in the very near future. Lotta work at a lot of time put in to get that sheepskin I am proud of him.
Touched base with my son William Harold Nash IV let him know I was looking forward to have lunch with them again sometime in the first or second week of November. We go down there have lunch and usually end up at the government surplus store in Tumwater always something there for a good deal. Last time I bought a big pallette a crap for 10 bucks to color TVs to two drawer filing cabinets whole bunch of ram for desktop computers part of a copier and miscellaneous other items. I took what I wanted and the rest ended up down at the Goodwill. Also got Linnea and a nice roll around table that she's going to be able to use in the sewing room as a tabletop when she's cut material for quilts.ires few things I've found on the net that you might find interesting Love This Just another Poll More Lator

I know it’s been a long time.I’m so very upset with the new administration in the way that the ruling this country.The only thing he gives me hope that seems every day more people are waking up to the smell of something cooking on the stove and it’s not the coffee. I don’t understand how the American people thought it would be okay for 5% of the citizens to pay the way for the other 95%.I am tired of teleprompter president apologizing for America. He talks of American arrogance Acknowledging U.S. mistakes before millions of Muslims on Arab television. He aggressively apologizing for the last few years of American foreign policy. Bush after 9/11 took the fight to the terrorists kept us safe. Obama likes to bow down to Saudi kings he in-joys warm greetings from Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez. Plans like closing Getmo without clue on how to go about doing it. Or Cash for clunkers it sounded like a good way to boost car sale for the big three GM Ford & Chrysler only one little problem they only sold an estimated 42 percent under the program. Foreign cars made up the majority of the program. $18.2 billion & well over ½ to foreign carmakers. We all agree that the health care system needs reform. People come here from around the world to be treated for their illnesses. We have cutting edge technology and some of the best-trained doctors in the world. Pharmaceutical companies are always searching and developing new treatments for all types of medical problems.The question is how do we make the best healthcare affordable for all of the citizens of the United States without compromising the care that is now being provided. A comment comes to mind from a woman at a tea party she said if your car has a dead battery you don’t throw the car away you get a new battery. The Republicans have submitted plenty of ideas that would cut the cost of health care short of totally revamping it but their ideas are falling on deaf ears. In my estimation the last thing we need is the government controlling and providing our health care. I can’t think of one thing that the government is taken over and made it better.Freddie Mac - Fannie Mae - Medicare - Medicaid -Social Security - public schools – Internal Revenue Service – VA Healthcare – cash for clunkers – bank bailouts – and last but not least the Stimulus Bill. Being a United States citizen you are entitled to many rights given to you by the creator but healthcare is not mentioned in the bill of rights or the Constitution. Bubba Cam

Well here is an new pic of me . I was surfing the net & found a Bubba Cam in Cabella’s bargain basement.
So I bought it & set it up on the drive by shooting range.
Well 1 Pic me. I went to move it further down the range & found the neighbor has cleared what he thought was the property line on the east side of our lot. I think it’s 15’ or 20’ on my side. I know when a fence is in place it’s hard to get it moved. I talked with him later that day. When he was home from work. He said I couldn’t find the marker & thought this was where it was. I asked if he was putting in a fence. No he had bought his son [senior in hi school] a quad & had the land cleared so he could ride his quad.
That’s all good but the old logging road that the drive by range is on use to have all kinds of tracks and signs that
The local animals were using it. A while back Linnea Will & I came back after a 3 day weekend & found a big pile
of bear scat on it. Also deer & coyotes tracks. Well now

Linnea & I went to my sister’s house in St Helens Ore & spent the night last Friday. We had a good time We were met with more family at dinner Nephew Bill wife Stacy with there kids Nash & Mara- Nephew Harold wife Michele with there kids Shawn & Salinea Niece Sue her boy friend & her daughter & grandkids.
It was fun. After dinner Linnea Mary Bill & I played pennicol

Couch & love seat on my little trailer & Linnea drove it home.
I must have had here pull over so I could check straps & ropes 4 or 5 times. I was worried about it falling off the trailer but No Worries…We made it fine. Friday Craig & I are going to try
Shooting the black powder rifles. I hava a CVA 50 cal to sight in.
Craig will be shooting the 45 cal. We are going to try black powder deer hunting this year. Planning to comb the hills around Mossy Rock with my old motorcycles to learn the lay of the land.
Sat Linnea & I are going to Joan’s 60th birthday & it should be a Hoot. I have started the Adkins Diet again this time I will go 3 weeks then take a weekend off then 3 weeks etc. I was on it two week before we headed to Ore then I fell off the wagon. I do hate the diet but it keeps my blood suger in check & the pounds do seem to go away. Owell enpught all ready here’s thing I have found.Good News from Mother Russia..Tin-Foil-Hat?Maybe NOT..I don't Qualify Because I have been paying my Mortgage if you do you are a IDIOT...Might as well do what this kid DID..

To pick up some parts for the XL 250r &Xl350r . This guy has two bikes he is parting out. I will be looking to get carbs for the 350 & Muffler with spark arrester for the 250.

The 250 runs well but needs a spark arrester muffler to make it legal to ride in the Tahuya State Forest. The 350 runs but starts hard & I think a carb transplant will improve that. Also when the weather gets better Craig & I

Are going to take the camper & motorcycles down around mossy rock to find new hunting places. My brother Bill & I hunted down there. Lots of woods to get lost in & has both Deer & Elk there… Well here is a few things I found on the web…

Well a week ago Craig & I went to the gun show in Here...It was packed & I can't believe the prices on GUNS Sks when sold went for $79 now a beat up one sell for $300+ Hand Guns that looked like they have been used as a hammer all beat up start at $300. Also the Hall was packed. So you would think a room packed full of people smart enough to buy & own guns. Would stop in the middle of the narrow lanes to bs with each other & stop the flow of people. I should have had my stun gun to keep them moving. I was looking for a 50cal Black powder muzzle loader the cheap one's start out at $129 New. Well No Cheap one to be found. I didn't find anything to buy. Craig found a eletric ranger finder for $75 & they work sweet...On the way home we stopped at a muzzle loader store on river road. Didn't have much & I am surprised they are still in business they had a CVA Muzzle loader for $275 Cabbella's prive $175....Owell. Craig & I were going to ride in Tahuya..
But I had pulled a mussel in my neck & canceled..I have a XL250R.. Off Road Only & a XL350R..
