Went out & about today junking & found a few treasures . Looked for a 50 cal muzzle loader rifle.
I think I will black powder hunt in 09 both deer & elk & to hunt elk you need 50 cal or larger. I have a 45 cal I bought at a garage sale last summer for $20 it was missing a few parts spring, cap, sock screw & bolt foung them on line for $35 It's a CVA this is the same only 50 cal..Fun to shoot.
the rifles will be given to patrol officers and that the agency was grateful for the gifts.Sing me up...

While it looks like we have weathered the storm of 08. Man it was a rough

battle for awhile. We lost our power yesterday. I had to trudge through the

snow out to the firewood shed and fire up are $100 Garage sale Honda 5000 W generator. Plug-in the TV cable box and refrigerator feed our wood stove and watch TV

untell the power came back on. Very scary ! we did get 12 inches of snow

yesterday we didn’t go anywhere. Brian stopped by and Willies old S-10

can’t believe the old truck is still running we bought it from Brian six years

or so ago he bought it back maybe three months ago. 215,000 or so miles

and it’s still truckin. With the amount of snow that we have here we thought

it would be a good idea for Linnea to stay home. We did go down to Purdy

to fuel her car and fill 2 6 gal outboard motor tanks. I fitted the old Honda generator

so that I could use my portable book tanks to run the generator. Works pretty good

Well we are trying to Weather the STORM OF O8... We have 5-6" of the white stuff. Linnea came home from work early took her a long time to make it home. People with street tires spinning & sliding all over the place others stuck in the ditch some stopped on the freeway & couldn't get going again. Watching the news it wasn't just on this side of the pond Seattle was in rear form also.
Stayed home today but tommrorow we will go out & about we need food for us & the dog.
Remmy our pound puppy [6-7yo] isn't able to eat regular food she is allergic to something
& when we feed here people food she scratches like crazy. We have to go to pet-co & get Dick Vanpation food [8 is enough] Also the Dog Bones. She dose good till the garbage gets radded

Tuesday Up-Date Merry Christmas

Well here’s what been going on…. Friday at 6pm a bunch of us showed up at the Olalla Community Center to deck the halls. Darren brought a very nice tall tree

We didn’t have a ladder so it was sparse on the top.[13’tall] Looked good.. We set up tables & chairs making it ready for Saturday. Linnea & I showed up 130 pm Sat

With the camper to spend the night. Lots of fun with cribbage{I W-2 L-2} apples to apples Jig saw puzzle. The kids put on a short cute play… Had dinner plenty of everything including dessert. Open gifts also had a white elephant exchange

Linnea & I went to Julie's my sister in law for dinner.We had a xlnt time and ate too much.
She lives in Onalaska south of Olympia 16 miles East of I-5. Lots of Family & Friends.
Just the way a good Turkey Day Should go
Friday we are having a second TD
Willie his Girl Friend Brian Diane Page Beth Fred & Gary will be here for the 4 pm second round.
Linnea spent $150 Bucks at Fred Myers & got a 19LB Bird for free so we will cook it with all the trimmings I love this time of year.
Next weekend it's Beth's Baby shower the house will be full of Womens so I will sky dattle out of here.
The weekend of the 20th is Linnea's family Christmas at the Olalla Hall. It also will be fun
Family draw names & aren't to spend $20-$30 for the gift. Also I here we are going to have a white elephant gift exchange I have a good thing for that.
